| ::Jaynna glances back and forth between the newly animated forged, and Mirae. Straining her neck to watch both of them at once. Her curiosity over the new warforged almost overwealming. But she draws her attention away from it as it seems Bulwark is handling the construct. Bouncing with barely contained energy, she follows Mirae at a distance of 10 feet, Hope trotting along at her side, occasionally casting glances back behind her at the warforged. She cocks her head as Mirae examines the door.. and watches.. quietly at first.. though her stance is filled with nervous energy.:: _________________ Jaynna d'Jorasco

| Mirae/Jaynna: You pull at the other door near the back of the room. It stubbornly resists for a moment and then with a loud shriek shifts aside to reveal another room. Even with the meager illumination in the room, the scene sends shivers down yout spine. Scattered around the room are the component parts of at least nother dozen warforged, some torn apart others having met with violence. They are strewn around the room as if there had been a fight at some point. None of them are in anything close to working order. There are also signs that the room was bombarded with magical energies, blast marks from lightning bolts and scorch marks of fireballs, and some of the bodies share the same marks. A door at the far side of the room would connect this room to the elevator shaft but from what you saw in there it is barred from the other side. Likely to prevent the battle that was occuring in this room from spilling into the elevator area, possibly as others retreated from the room. Everyone: About 10 minutes after the other door is opened another series of humming noises begins, following almost immediatly by another loud shriek. and then rythmic thumping sounds. The thumping noises continue for another minute and then stop. Sorno then comes chittering out of the elevator room, yelling something triumphantly at the top of his lungs and looking far too pleased with himself! Mirae: (translation) I did it! I did it! I did it! _________________ . Magic is a curious thing; full of hope and promise one minute, then everything goes pear-shaped

| Mirae peeks into the newly revealed room and her mouth drops open at the wreckage within. She casts a light spell on her staff (will last about 30 minutes) and steps into the room to get a better look around, slowly moving the staff to shed light across the whole area. ((placeholder just in case she spots anything interesting - the next bit may change slightly)) With a glance back at Jaynna, she puts a finger to her lips and murmurs quietly, "I do not think Bulwark would like to see this, and there is nothing in there to help us." Putting her shoulder to the door to push it closed again, she then moves towards the double doors they came in by and steps out into the area containing the three immobile constructs, looking around. Noting that two of the doors have now been opened, she starts towards one of the locked ones when a series of loud noises from the other room startles her. Running back inside, she is in time to see her tiny knight come zooming out of the elevator shaft yelling in excitement. Once she registers what he's saying, she smiles broadly at the little man and responds automatically in Sylvan. "You did?! Oh, well done, my friend!" Glancing around at the others, she gestures over her shoulder. "There are still two rooms out there that have not been checked, if anyone would like to see if there is anything useful in them..." Denni watches her silently from beneath his bench as she then heads over to investigate the elevator shaft to see if the cage is now lowered and if any controls are visible. _________________ -Mirae Movalis

| ((Am I allowed to ask if Bulwark can see the mess in that room? >>;; I can edit this if you think it's a bad idea/waste of time. Otherwise. . .)) Bulwark watched the two wander out of the room to the closed door before turning his attention back to the new Warforged. "Find a way to lower the elevator if you can. Otherwise, perhaps. . . Hm. . ." Bulwark looked around the room. "Grab anything that looks useful to yourself, as I believe we will not be returning here." Bulwark spun on his heels, following after Mirae and Jaynna. "Madam Mirae? Madam Jaynna? Do you need assistance?" He glanced at Mirae as she closed the door, yet didn't flinch at the loud crash of the elevator. He glanced behind him to see that Sorno had fixed it. . . Perhaps the new Warforged was not as useful as Bulwark had thought. ((I can edit this part below out if Jaynna doesn't want him going in or not, or if Mirae tries to stop him. Otherwise, he's just doing this:)) Bulwark ignored that thought for a moment, and approached the door Mirae had shut. He nodded to Jaynna, and then cracked the door open carefully. "Was there nothing useful in. . . he-. . ." Bulwark opened the door all the way, staring at the wreckage of the room. He took a few steps in, taking a better look at the scattered pieces of the Warforged. He mumbled something to himself, and began seeing if any of the plating differed from one piece to another, whether in size, shape, or color. Seeming to forget about asking whether any of the magic lingered or not, Bulwark began to carefully and slowly place like pieces together, as if putting scattered bones back into a skeleton. He held each piece as if it were fragile and would break in his large hands, and placed pieces next to their group with an incredible amount of care. When he had done as much as he could, Bulwark walked back to the door. He faced the broken Warforged and bowed his head for a moment, before taking a careful step outside the room (being careful in case Jaynna was behind him), and shut the door. ((If anything about that is bad, let me know, or if anyone wants to stop him from going in, let me know. I'll edit it up to where I said.)) _________________ -Bulwark

The warforged nods deeply, "as you command." He then moves to join Mirae in the room where the elevator is now positioned on the ground floor. First he inspects a panel on the wall and then steps into the elevator to inspect it. "Sir, it would seem that the control panel on this level has been rendered inoperative and is beyond repair. The elevator has already been lowered to this level. It would appears that the controls within the elevator itself are intact and that power is still flowing through the command circuitry. Do you wish that the elevator's functions be tested?" |

| Mirae glances at the warforged a little nervously as it follows her to the elevator. When it asks about testing the functioning, she hurriedly steps out of the cage and stands well back, waiting to see if this contraption will get them out of here. ((Ghalin, there's two locked doors calling your name in that first room... )) _________________ -Mirae Movalis

| Bulwark nodded to Ghalin. "If by good, you mean we may have finally discovered a way to the surface. . . Then yes." He turned his attention to the Warforged, listening to the report. He paused for a moment before speaking. ". . . If the power works, it should deliver us as far up as it can. . . If there are no objections," he looked to the others, "then perhaps Unit F906-01Alpha can test the controls. If it works, he brings the elevator back to us, and we move onward. . . Unless anyone objects? Perhaps someone could accompany him up. . . That is, if anyone does not trust him." Bulwark tilted his head. "Designations are a bit of a mouthful. . . He needs a shorter name, similar to my "Bulwark" name. Hmm. . ." Bulwark trailed off, trying to come up with a catchy name that could stick to the Warforged to make conversation easier. _________________ -Bulwark

| ::Jaynna keeps up with Mirae, her head turning back and forth to see everything and draw it all in for memory. She smiles as it seems Bulwark is getting a bit more at ease with the strange new warforged, and cocks her head as she observes the group. Hope moves back to her side, trying to keep a close eye on the halfling girl as she follows Mirea about. Cocks her head as she listens to the party, then to Bulwark's musings.. "You could just shorten it.. None of the rest of us use Alpha, so it wouldnt be that confusing for him to get used to it.. ?" <her bright eyes sparkle> "and its kinda easy for us to remember too?""" ((sorry.. with the holidays being so busy and for some reason my email didnt let me know there were new posts.. I kinda lost track of things til now.. | "Alpha. . ." Bulwark paused. ". . . It is simple, and easy to remember. While also describing him, as I am not sure of his talents. . . Alpha is a good suggestion. Thank you, Madam Jaynna," he said with a slight bow to the Halfling. "If there are no objections to Alpha testing our elevator alone, on the grounds that he returns it to us. . .?" Bulwark ended the question with a trailing off, glancing at Alpha with a small nod. _________________ -Bulwark

| Mirae nods somewhat impatiently at the two Warforged. "Please... just find a way out as soon as possible..." _________________ -Mirae Movalis
